Jax loves exploring senses. She plays piano and flute; dances the Argentine Tango and salsa with her husband; dabbles with painting; and relaxes through baking and wine tastings. For excitement she SCUBA dives and downhill skis.
She is an avid traveler who has been to every U.S. state and 72 countries.
"The more people I meet and serve, the more I grow in understanding, grace, and gratitude." - Jax
Jax has been an active volunteer throughout her life and believes service to others is an honor as well as obligation.
She has been a hospice volunteer, scholarship judge, literacy tutor, reserve police officer, campaign manager, board member, and active doer.
She is honored to have met Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush each while he was in office.
