A Midwesterner living in Florida
Christine and her Cuban-born husband, Jesus, have six kids (ages 22-40) and seven grandkids (2-11 years).
Jesus is a Miami-Dade firefighter / paramedic / rescue diver / hazmat tech. He is also a former Navy Corpsman.
Christine loves exploring her senses. She plays piano and flute, dances the Argentine Tango and salsa with her husband, dabbles with painting, and relaxes through baking and wine tastings. For excitement, she SCUBA dives and downhill skis.
She is an avid traveler who has been to every U.S. state and 73 countries.
"The more people I meet and serve, the more I grow in understanding, grace, and gratitude." - Jax
Christine has been an active volunteer throughout her life and believes service to others is an honor as well as an obligation.
She has been a hospice volunteer, scholarship judge, literacy tutor, campaign manager, board member, and active doer.
She is honored to have met Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush each while he was in office.
